Does anyone know any good rhymes or songs for teaching shoe tying. About 80% of my kindergartners this year cannot tie their shoe, and we've been working on it during stations. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
There is a Blue's Clues episode called Morning Music, and in it, Shoehorn sings a song to help Joe tie his shoe. It really helped the girls. We have it on DVD. I'll see if I can find it on youtube. . .
Okay, so it's not on youtube. But the DVD is called "Bluestock," and the song is sung by Randy Travis. It's called "Shoe Tie" and it's also on cd, but I don't know what the cd is called. It's a Blues Clues compilation. Anyway, it doesn't really matter unless you can have dvd or cd in your class with you.
