I'm not even going to try to catch up for the time I haven't blogged.

I'll just start from today...

Some of you know that we have been in the midst of a very difficult family situation. Without getting into too many details or back tracking through the entire ordeal - I will just blog about the main thing we are dealing with at this time. Today our six year old nephew was supposed to come here to live with us for a few months. Honestly, I have been a little overwhelmed as we have prepared for his arrival, but I believe God has called us to this service and we would be so blessed to have him here despite any "inconvenience".

However, we are stuck in "the system". Anyone I have talked to that has been through something similar to this situation has told me the same thing. Yes means no. You will be jerked around. Things will go slow. Hang in there; he is worth fighting for! All of this is true, and I am glad to know that it is not just uniquely our situation that stinks (for lack of a better word.)

Please pray for our family and especially for my nephews.
