Just another reason Charles is superdad/superhubby. Our ac has been out all this week, so we are camping out in the fellowship hall where their is cool air! We are certainly blessed to be able to stay right next door. There's a kitchen and bathrooms there, so we just come home to shower and get clean clothes. With triple digit heat most of this week (today being a cooler exception at 88 degrees) - we are so thankful!
Hopefully the air is going to get fixed tomorrow, but the kids aren't ready to come back home, because superdad went all out and set up a hug tent for them. He even put some fake trees from the church around the tent to make it more woodsy! It has just made this first week of school even more fun for them.
My first grader and my fourth grader have both had a terrific first week of school. They were ready to get back. Notice there is a picture of Jonathan in his classroom, but there isn't one of Kaitlin. She is in 4th grade now. Mom and Dad no longer get the honor of walking her to her class - even on the first day of school.
